The latest Resident Evil game is upon us...well almost anyways, a demo for the latest Resident Evil game has been released and all those that own Dragons Dogma can get early access to this demo, do not worry if you fancy a little preview of this but do not own Dragons Dogma, on September 5th, the demo will be available to download for everyone, this date could change but that is when Capcom have scheduled to release it to everybody.
The demo features around 45 minutes of game, splitting into 3 15 minute segments, these segments come in the form of the 3 different stories you will be able to follow within the game. The stories will follow Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield and Jake Muller, these also have a partner with them, Leon having Helena Harper, Chris having Piers Nivans and Jake having Sherry Birkin. The demo allows you to pick either player within their respective story and allows co-op so you and a mate can play the demo together.

Each story has a cut-scene before hand, giving the player a bit of information has to what is going on within their story. The graphics in this game are very good and controls will seem familiar to those who have played Resident Evil before, to those who are new, the loading screen shows the controller layout so you can learn what button does what. The Resident Evil series is known for its scares and the demo does feature a few jump scares, some expected, some not expected but the demo does keep you engrossed into what is going on and will keep you tense while you play it, either showing your reactions or jumping out of your skin depending on how you approach horror games
It maybe a good 48 days away from now that the demo is released to the public but if you are into the Resident Evil series, or are finally brave enough to see what it has to offer, I would easily recommend downloading it on the 5th of September
