Titanfall June Update

Following quickily on the heels of last months Expedition DLC for Titanfall, Respawn Entertainment show no signs of slowing down when it comes to their pet project. Two new modes are being shown this week on the E3 floor and I for one cannot wait to get my hands on them.

Marked For Death sees you and a player from the opposing team being selected for a limited time at the start of the match for assassination. When one of the players who is marked for death has been killed two new players are selected. Now don't think you can just run and hide in a corner and stay there until the opposing target is killed or time runs out. Oh no your not that lucky and anyway only wimps hide. Once your selected a big red cross hair appears over you so your easy to track down.

Wingman: Last Titan Standing is a 2v2 mode. No footage has been shown and very little has been said about it. Do you all Start in Titans or is it just one player on each team with the other pilot as back up? Or have Respawn come up with a twist on the Titan v Titan formula that they want to keep secret for now, only time will tell.

Love your burn cards as much as I do. Well stop your grinnin and drop your linen because burn cards will soon be made available for your Titan. Amped weapons and abilities similar to your pilots will be available before the start of each match so now you will have to balance out which cards and for who are more important to you. Unlockable Decals are another new addition which will unlock after you have completed a challenge. But don't panic these will unlock retroactively and will be available to you straight away so theres no need to throw your joypad out of your pram.

New menu art is also being added alongside the new DLC and you can also switch the music that you hear playing in the lobby. Sure its not a game changer but at least it keeps things fresh. New AI voices are also being added and you can choose between three different voice overs. Betty is the original we are all use to, Lisa is modelled on 21st century navigational software and Jeeves is modeled after a legendary English butler.

Matchmaking also gets a small update. The lobby wil show when players are connecting into the lobby and will now shuffle the teams to keep both sides fairly balanced.

This free update will be available sometime this month for Xbox One. No mention of when this will be available for the Xbox 360 but keep an eye on the front page because when that date is released we will be sure to post it here.
