Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's The Division is an upcoming massively multiplayer online third-person shooter. First announced in 2013 alongside a gameplay demo everything looked good but then total silence. This year's E3 saw The Division bounce back in style with a new gameplay demo.
The UbiBlog caught up with game director Ryan Bernard at E3 this year at their press conference where he goes into more detail about The Cleaners. As one of the more dangerous enemies you will face in the game not much is revealed apart from the the that their mental state is fubar and their main goal is to seek out infected area's and cleanse them of everyone and anything they think may be diseased.
Some of the most interesting gadgets you get to use in the game touched upon as well. The firefly is a drone that you use to blind enemies. There was no mention of any other abilities. Echoes are 3D representations of footage from cctv captured during the escalating epidemic. And Base of Operations is a secure building you can use as a safe house.
Tom Clancy's The Division is released sometime in 2015.
