Microsoft's ID@Xbox programme has come on in leaps and bounds since it launched last year and Ashen by Aurora44 is another example of the quality the programme is striving to achieve. An action RPG set in an open world that places you in the footsteps of an explorer trying to find himself somewhere to call home. A barren world where the only source of natural light comes from eruptions that coat the world in ash.
As simple as that may sound Ashen will delve deep into the relationships that you will need to forge to survive. Will you welcome strangers to your camp to help you survive or will you treat them as enemies? Ashen promises non-linear progression meaning no two games will ever be the same and a passive multiplayer multiplayer experience.
