Well where do I start... I never thought I would be able to stay in division one having previously been in there once before and didn't really even put up a fight.
the season didn't start of to good with 1 point from 6.. but on the other hand ItsOnlyJEFF9108 is a very good player on his day you just dont know what jeff was going to turn up and unfortunately for me it was the zoned in jeff. even though both games were tightly contested.
arguably my two best results of the season were vs TopCat FC with me winning 3-2 then drawing 3-3 , maybe I played him at the right time ! as he went on eventually to win the league and only losing 3 games overall. I wouldn't say I really got battered in any of my games even though there is one or two scorelines that suggest differently.
At the start of the season I said to myself I would be happy to just still be in with a shout of staying up at the end of the season and I never thought for a minute that I would be. I had some good results along the way and unexpected results vs some players like my 4-1 vs aaronc333 , respectively he went on in the second game to beat me 5-4.
What helped me overall and this will sound like a Clichy is getting points from the people around me in the table... my two strikers also basiclly kept me in the league scoring 13 goals each in the league.

Next season i am intrigued to see how i get on with signing another pacey striker in the name of kolo muani so that will improve my striker depth so i have more options available from the bench. I'm also close to signing another striker which will be a good fit for my squad.
My aims for next season are the same really , as i will never be up there in div 1 challenging I'm just not good enough but i hope i can maybe finish a few places higher but that will be a tall order !
