So we go back to 2019 and my first season joining the AG setup which was also to be the last season on FIFA 19.
Now Marcus was a Generous leader with the MDP setup and also the wages were ultra manageable meaning more high rated players for less. Oh how times have changed as I sit here looking at my current squad and work out how to trim or cut players as cheap as possible. It got me thinking about that team and how I fared coming into this kind of setup. So below is my squad and where they are now compared to back then.

It seems my actions tactic wise have always been a topic of frustration for some. Being new to the setup and not wanting to be relegated I opted for a 541.
I can remember people remarking politely that 5 ATB wasn’t really allowed. That quickly transpired to be the best way of getting points so I stuck with it. Unfortunately I got the “oh I’ve got Suited and his 5ATB next. Well it certainly helped as I became the draw specialist in the league with 9 Draws., which in turn saved me from relegation, after I beat Harry in the relegation playoff. It’s very similar to Now as it’s more my LB/RB playing CB which causes controversy, safe to say this season I haven’t had to set my team that way due to a couple of decent CB upgrades, but I’m sure in some games it may need to happen.

The league as a whole was interesting.
Joe had the highest wages in the Prem at £13.1M
Pacfish at £11.5M led the way in the championship.
And in League 1 Rhino led the way with £9.3M.
The highest transfer fee was £60M this was paid to Goldenbeard by Tanz for A.Teixiera.
The highest BFA was J.Kimmich who was 86 rated for again £60M.
