It was a big week for the animals on the AG Tour this week with Mouse winning the event and Rhino claiming the Tour Championship. IDanger IMouse has been producing some superb form after a troublesome few weeks and it paid off this week as he was our winner of our final regular season event by 5 shots on the difficult Sunday River course. BobBank tied for the best gross score with Red Rhinoceros and that got him 2nd place. We had joint 3rd as Red Rhinoceros and Burga boii ( another returning to form ) all tied. All this meant that Red Rhinoceros has been crowned AG Tour Champion for the season.
Meanwhile the race for the Final Four had an exciting conclusion as Burga boii's fine performance saw him jump from 6th to 4th and jump over Goldenbeard and RFC Buncey in the final week. He will join Red Rhinoceros , wellsa27 and Berty44 for a two round final event which we hope to broadcast on Mixer which will be held next week to decide the AG Society Champion, Although Rhino has a huge lead and despite the fact that there are quadruple points on offer for this event it looks like only Wellsa has a chance to catch him. On the TGC Tour all our lads had reasonable performances last week and we are all becoming much more competitive as time goes on. This week's AG champion IDanger IMouse eliminated one of his demotion strikes but apart from that all players remain pretty much are as they were with decent performances. CC-F is producing a great rivalry between the 4 lads on that tour as each vie to be the top contender weekly.
We will be having a few weeks break before the start of the next season but we intend to run a Ryder Cup style event so keep an eye out and keep up the practice and remember to hit them long and straight lads and remember you drive for show and putt for dough !
