INNOVATION LEAGUE- SEASON 1 REVIEW

A new season, a new concept, a new beginning. This season has been one of trials and errors, of victories and defeats, and most of all, good gaming by all (except a certain someone). The Innovation league, where you choose the destiny of your campaign, brought about many great matches and upsets that will go down as one of the best on AG. Without further delay, lets dive in and see what happened on the field.

Topping the table, we find a badger loving, trail blazing, eyebrow raising sunamagun, known to us all as caws 09. He takes the crown by a solitary point after an excellent campaign which saw him rack up 10 wins, 5 draws and a solitary loss. Notable results for caws include a 4-0 triumph over wordy, and a 3-0 triumph over Sauce. Caws leaves this campaign having scored 35 goals and conceded 15, with an average of over two goals per game. He will be back to defend his title in season 2.

Second place goes to the man who is too sweet to be sour, yes that's right it's UnanimousSauce8. Incredible stuff by one of AG's up and coming stars, he loses the
title by a point having achieved 10 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses. 23 goals showed his prowess in front of the goal, and he conceded just 14 goals all season. Notable results for Mr Sauce were a 3-1 victory over Chuck, and a 1-0 victory over caws. We hope to see him back for another shot next season.

Bronze medal goes to the man who insists on being called Sir in the bedroom (don't ask), Markos6969. Another very respectful campaign from Markos sees him score a staggering 43 goals, and conceding just 19. He claims third comfortably after winning 9, drawing 4 and losing 3, leaving him on 31 points. A big 7-1 win over word and 4-0 routing of Bri shows just how well Markos did in this league, winning the golden boot also. (Ps. thanks for being admin for this league).

Coming in behind Markos in fourth place is Subz87. A solid campaign from him sees him score 19, but conceding 25 didn't help his chances. Subz took 4 points off Sauce on the final matchday, ultimately costing him the title. 7 wins, 2 draws and 7 losses sees him pick up a respectable 23 points. A 3-1 win over Chuck, and a 3-0 victory over Bri demonstrate that he has the capability to do much better next season.

5th place goes to the man who electrifies the football pitch with his wisdom and witty banter (up to you to decide), OrgasmWord. Good stuff here from wordy, finishing on 21 points having secured 6 wins, 3 draws and 7 losses respectively. His best results were a 2-0 win over Subz, and a victory in the game of the season, a 6-3 clash with iBud. He scored 22, but let in a whopping 33 goals, the highest in the league. Time to sure up that defence, eh mate?

AG rookie ChuckDzzNutz was next, finishing in 6th place in his debut campaign. Plenty of potential here, having scored 24 and conceded just 3 more. A win over Subz and a 3-0 pasting of iBud shows us what he is capable of. He comes away with 6 wins, 2 draws and 8 losses respectively. We hope to see a lot more of Chuck in the leagues, as he provided a fresh and enjoyable brand of football against all.

7th place goes to Mr Ikea (sorry), your friend and mine, iBuD LjuNgKull. Not his best outing it has to be said, however he did get 5 wins and 4 draws, also losing 7 games respectively. Even goal difference as well shows his capability up front and the weakness of his defence, with 30 goals each way. His best results came against Subz and Word, winning each game 5-0 and 5-1. He'll be out for revenge next season for sure.

Second to last place, comes he who shall not be named. Vacant had 4 wins, 3 draws and 9 losses, scoring 10 goals and conceding 18.

Last place, wooden spoon and commiserations go to our jolly old man, Big B 1970. Oh dear, no wins this season, eh Bri? He got 3 draws and 13 losses, scoring just 5 and conceding 30. His best, well lets be honest, his only results came in the form of three draws, 2 against iBud and against Sauce respectively. Bri will be out for vengeance next season following this disappointing campaign.

That's your wrap up of the innovation league season 1. Big thanks MarcusJonesy for giving us the platform to hold it, Markos6969 for running it, caws 09 for the idea and to all of you who made this league a success(except Zlatko of course).

Caws, out.
