Our number on the TGC Tour continues to grow with the good news that last week Goldenbeard earned his card by completing Q-School. Dickie shot -13 which was a decent score on a tricky course to finish 164th and earn a card on CC-F. An experienced player at the golf game he only made a recent return to competitive action and will be hoping to rise through the tour.

Joe continued his fine form on CC-A and for the second week in a row he managed to eliminate one of the demotion strikes he was carrying. Joe shot -25 to finish in 96th place, just one shot good enough to clear the strike. He has one strike remaining but with the fine run he is on he will hopefully clear that this week.

Red Rhinoceros had also been showing good from recently, even coming close to a top 20 place last week but he came crashing back down to earth this week with a 127th place finish on -16 on CC-B. Still with no strikes he will be hoping to rediscover his form for both the TGC and the ongoing Ryder Cup.

Burga boii fared only one shot better on CC-C shooting -17 and he finished in 125th place so is still strike free. He might feel as if he could have fared better as a fabulous third round 10 birdie 62 shows what he is capable of. Below is Burga's new look on show at Platinum Point !

On to CC-D and what a week wellsa27 had. His worst round was his first round 66 ! He followed this with rounds of 65, 64 and then 63, only having one bogey over those final 3 rounds. This made him our star performer for the week with a final score of -30 for 41st place. His fortunes are similar to Joe's in that for the second week in a row he eliminated a strike and has only one left. Meanwhile BobBank loved the front 9 of last weeks course shooting -14 on the front including a hole out 2 on the par 4 5th hole in his second round. However he struggled to keep it going on the back only going -3 for a tournament total of -17. This was so disappointing as he managed a long streak without a strike but his finish in 142nd gave him his first ever demotion strike. A further 4 shots behind on -13 was Berty44 whose 162nd place also earned him a strike. Worse news for paullowes80 who committed the cardinal error of not completing his four rounds. He was on course to incur one strike but his non finish earned him 2. He now has 4 and is only one strike from dropping even further down the tour levels and actually off the CC-Pro and into the CC-Am.

Wizzfox nearly cleared a strike in his previous outing but he had a very poor week only beating 70 in his final round to finish on -7 and in 150th place. he had a particularly nightmarish 3rd round starting it off with a quadruple bogey 8 and having 4 other bogies was well. Wizz now has two strikes. What a week IDanger IMouse had last week. He had 14 bogies, one double bogey and a horror quadruple bogey on the par 5 15th in his final round. With all those bogies he actually did well to finish on +1 thanks to 20 birdies over his final 3 rounds. He was only two shots away from avoiding a strike but his 144th place cost him his first strike. Here he is in action playing a practice round.

Burga's great round this week prompted me to see who had the top rounds on TGC and here are the best rounds shot this season:

59 Joe
61 Red Rhinoceros BobBank
62 Burga boii Berty44
63 wellsa27 Wizzfox
64 IDanger IMouse
66 Goldenbeard
