83 league goals from Yeboah saw the German outfit land the title when they won their final league game against Nuuthatch's Reading.
Throughout the season Schalke spent a fair bit of cash )nearly 200 million) as the team wasn't that strong. It was helped by selling just over 80 millions worth of players.

Two other BFA purchases were made when landing Hassan Tombakti for 22.6 million at center half and they got a steal for Shavy Babicka for 4 milion who played the last 2 games in the cam position.
They were helped massively by the divisional GK BFA when landing 84 rated Diogo Costa in goal on a season long loan.
And they landed young 18 year old Belgian keeper Mike Penders who will be their number one next season in goal.
With an average starting 11 of 22.8 years. Hopefully next season they can hold their own in Div 1.
Divisional Cup
A bye in round saw a quarter final fixture against Pisa and after a 5-1 win they then faced Ash's Real Zaragoza, Schalke came out of that 8-4 winners. That would set up another match against Red Bull in the Final. An end to end Final saw Millsy's Red Bull team edge out a 6-4 win in a deserved victory.
League Cup
Some tricky ties saw Schalke play Coxy winning 3-1, Storm winning 5-1. And in the quarter final they would get past Pato with a 6-2 victory. They were to meet eventual winners Shaun in the semis , and were outclassed being on the end of a 7-2 thumping. Shaun went on to beat Brian 6-3 in the final.
Europa League
The second piece of silverware came in the Europa League. Schalke will of fancied their chances in the Group B, but after 2 wins and 2 defeats. They would crash out in 3rd earning a place in the Europa group stage again in group B. With no Div 1 teams in the group Schalke got through topping the group to qualify for the knockout stage,
A semi final match against Gorton's Hearts team ended up 6-5 to Schalke in a great game.
The final saw them play MJG's Standard Liege and would receive a 1 goal start with the handicap system. A quick start saw Schalke race into a good lead and kept it up to win the Final 9-1 with Yeboah getting all 9 goals in what was a great season for the striker.
Next Season
Next up Division 1 which they have always struggled in. So they will be favorites to go straight back down to Div 2 and probably duly so. As the gap in class between Div 1 and 2 is massive, So Schalke will need to be on the ball in each game as all the teams up their are a class act.
