I have to be honest and tell you that I’ve never played a Worm's game before, so when i got a chance to review this I was excited as I’ve heard alot of good things about it.
If you're like me and didn't know what the game is about well basically it's a puzzle/action genre where you control a team of worms and your objective is to destroy the other team with an assorted array of weapons such as bazooka, dynamite etc.
In this collection we get the entire catalogue of games in the Worm series that have been released on XBLA, Worms (2007), Worms 2: Armageddon (2009) and Worms: Ultimate Mayhem (2011), all games are on disc apart from the DLC which has to be downloaded separately, the DLC just applies to Worms 2.
Worms
This is the bog standard Worms game which has the usual options with Quick game, training and challenges, compared to the other two games this would have to be the lesser of the two games.
Worms 2: Armageddon
Worms 2 has all the game modes Worms has but with the added edition of a campaign which adds more longevity and makes it more interesting to play. Customization is another improved option with more voices and different range of hats etc. Graphically it’s a major overhaul with more complex playing areas and more weapons available.
Worms: Ultimate Mayhem
For the first time Worms is in 3D, which changes the game completely and brings it to life, this is a combination of Worms 3D (2003) and Worms 4 (2005). My only issue at times was the camera angle got in the way and it felt awkward to control but this didn’t ruin the fun i had.

The DLC included with the disk is unfortunately only for Worms 2, included is:
Battle Pack includes Warzone campaign which is the same as a campaign only harder, Body count mode which is one worm against four enemy worms and you have to gain as many points as possible, 5 new weapons, 10 new Forts, game themes and more customization options.
Forts Pack which includes 20 new single player fort based levels along with various new hats, voices, 10 new forts for multiplayer and 3 gravestones that appear when one of your worms die.

Mayhem Pack contains 3 landscape themes, 3 new hats, 3 new voices and 3 gravestones.
Puzzle Pack is very taxing on the brain as it includes 20 puzzle missions where the enemy worms are placed in very awkward places on the map and you have to use your head more, this also includes 3 new hats, 3 voices, 3 gravestones and a puzzled themed map.
Retro Pack that has included 20 new single player missions reworked from an earlier version of Worms 2, it also includes 3 new hats, 3 voices, 3 new gravestones and 1 landscape theme.
Time Attack Pack adds more variety as it’s a race against time using only your rope and Jets, there’s 20 of these missions but also with 3 hats, 3 voices, 3 new gravestones and a Time Attack theme.

There is as usual multiplayer online and offline with your friends which can be customised to your own preference and usually gave me more fun than against the computer opponents.
I found the whole game very enjoyable and well worth purchasing, so if you have some spare cash lying around and want to play something different then what you waiting for?
