Earlier this morning it was confirmed that Olympique de Marseille had appointed a new manager.

The man himself would like to say a few words about the move.
It's great to have taken over this great club. It was time to move on from the bright lights of Longford Town. The 2 seasons I had there were filled with high and lows, mainly the 2 cup finals, and the relegation. The funds just weren't available to me to achieve my goals in the Fantasy League, so I decided it was time to move on. Once I heard of Marseille's interest, it was a no brainier for me.
I fully expect us to bounce back and secure promotion to the Premiership. The squad is strong enough in attack, but the defence in is dire need of a makeover. Matters weren't helped when our top defender decided to go AWOL, he will be replaced in the coming days.
72,000,000 was a massive investment, but I feel this will be justified in the coming months, I see no reason to change clubs any time in the future. So here's to a long and successful adventure together.
I'd also like to reassure the fans that my head is 100% clear now. I've visited a very good therapist in the last few weeks. Some of the members really got in my head and I just couldn't cope with it anymore, I wasn't sleeping or eating
The locals we're delighted to hear of a new appointment at there club.
