Rangers FC, called an early press conference to welcome new manager oBIGASHo to the hotseat, after moving on from last season's champions Doncaster Rovers, Ash was the number 1 choice for the job according to sources.
oBIGASHo said to a packed press room, "i'm delighted to be here, a huge club, massive fan base, and I am here to add to that already packed out, trophy cabinet, i shall be bringing a fair few lads with me from last season, as I know they will deliver for me, and do what I ask of them.
This club has not had the success it is used to, of late, and the aim, as always, is to try win a trophy. We have a budget to work with, and I, as I have shown, will only buy guys who will improve the side. We delivered a league title, and CC, with one of the smallest wage bills in the leagues, so money will not be wasted, as has happened here of late. I cannot wait to get started, and sample some fine foods, inparticular a battered Mars bar".
Fans outside the ground, delighted at the announcement sang the new managers name, a reason for optimism now at Rangers, maybe?
