Batman Arkham Knight E3 2014 Preview

Rocksteady’s Batman trilogy reaches it’s epic conclusion with Batman Arkham Knight which is scheduled to be released sometime in 2015. The trilogy that started it all in 2009 finally makes its next gen debut and it’s no holds barred. New weapon abilities allow you to instantly switch directions during a glide using the grapple gun it can also be fired twice while in the air to chain grappling moves together. The batarang has a new sensor ability that can be thrown out to gain intel on the surrounding area, highlighting threats and possibly more.

The big draw here though is for the first time in the series you get to drive the Batmobile. Oh be still my beating heart. Not only can you summon the Batmobile to your location at will you can also at eject from the vehicle and begin instantly gliding. The Batmobile has two modes which you can switch between as and when you like. Pursuit Mode is for moving from one specific area to another in as quick a time as possible. Battle mode is for when you need to bring the heat and the Batmobile transform into a mobile tank which allows you to strafe in any direction using the vulcan gun, a bloody massive 60mm cannon for when you really want to do some damage and a huge array of missiles for wide-ranging damage, and a non-lethal riot-suppressor.

Rocksteady you had me at Batman.
