The latest skin pack released for Minecraft coincides with the release of the latest Marvel Comics film, Guardians of the Galaxy on August 1st. This skin pack contains 24 characters from the film, some of which are main characters and other “less important” characters. The likeliness of the characters is not too bad, you can tell who they are but due to the limitations of Minecraft it is probably the best you can get. The skins don't make any difference to game-play but are useful to show off in online games, or if the mood takes you, you can “skin-up” as Death and slay as many pigs, villagers, sheep or any other moving objects you can find.
The description for the DLC content on xbox.com says some of the characters are “Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot and Drax”. The complete list is: Death, Jason of Sparta, Major Victory, Mantis, Nova, Quasar, Thanos, Wraith, Drax, Gamora, Star-Lord, Rocket, Groot, Yondu, Ronan the Accuser, Nebula, Sakaaran Warrior, Korath, The Collector, Carina, Star-Lord (Comics), Adam warlock, Angela, and Charlie-27.
The skin does add an aesthetically pleasing addition to the game but overall does not affect the game-play. If you are a die hard Marvel fan you will like it, and if you have a spare £1.29 lying around it's worth a quick download.
