EA has a long history at E3 and some of the biggest games coming to Xbox One are from EA, from Madden NFL to Star Wars battlefront this is our first look at some of the juicy details that EA will release in due course. Below is a summary of all things EA as the third press conference of E3 gets underway. Enjoy...
Mass Effect has opened the show with Andromeda being next in the series releasing in Holiday 2016. You can find the trailer below. Very few details released by EA as you'd expect at this point, but as soon as we have it, we'll bring it to you first!
Need for Speed is back, 20 years after its original release. EA are attempting to combine many features of the series into one game as you can see in the trailer below! Need for speed shows off an impressive array of skills but i'd be more impressed with more gameplay video, sadly we didn't get that much at all.
One of the new IP's from EA is called Unravel, you will fall in love with this little fella! From a small team of only 14 from Sweden pulled our heart strings with this video. The game feels like an Ori and the Blind Forest, if it's anything like that, i can;t wait!
More Plants vs Zombies action, as it was shown earlier at MS we see more video content from EA. You can find a 4 player co-op gameplay in the video below. You can transfer all of your unlocked characters from the first installment, into the new Plants vs Zombies. We also welcome in solo play for the first time. More details as we get them! Arriving spring 2016.
Onto the sport section and NBA LIve opens up, with the release date of September 29th. You can see that NBA live has realised it needs to step up its game after a poor installment last year out, NBA2K14 really got the step up on them and they look to be fighting back. The bread and butter that the develops talk about in the NBA is the same for the game and you can see some of the latest improvements in the video below.
FIFA time now. A guest appearence from Pele. The world's greatest. Telling us some great stories from his playing career, it's certainly worth a watch, but lets get down to FIFA 16!! Competing at a higher level and new ways to play are featuring heavily. Mirrors edge is the new defending tactic, providing you with better defence against some of the most skillful players in the game. Control in the midfield features and moments of magic provide some of the most memorable moments in FIFA. Skills trainer has been added in for new players and old to give you the better chance to get better whatever your level! Womens football is also in but you can find our feature already on the front end!
Mirrors Edge comes back with the frostbite engine. One of those games last time out that you may have missed but was one of the best games on old gen! Mirrors Edge is being opened up for the player, no levels and no loading screens gives you complete flexibility and the rides of fate. February 23rd is the arrival of Mirrors Edge Catalyst. See the world premiere below.
Madden NFL is back once again, Madden NFL 15 was the best in the series for me. Draft champions is the new game mode, for all you NFL Fantasy fans! Quick fire 3 players at a round of 15 rounds, some very interesting details which promise to change everytime. A brand new team every single time. Already seeing some nifty cross over features between Madden and FIFA. Released September 23rd.
Star Wars Battlefront is finnaly here, an hour and and almost a half in. The frostbite engine, really shows off and if this doesn't make you excited, what the hell will?!?! Single player AI Battles returns as a feature, something that i sorely missed from the old games and an addition i so hoped they would add in. So many screenshots, so little gameplay. And then BANG! I'm just going to leave that gameplay video below. November 17th. I'll be there.
And so that is another EA @ E3 press conference i hope enjoyed this summary and as always keep it on AbsoluteGaming for all the latest news and reviews from EA.
