Blast Em Bunnies Review

In a short summary this is a very simplistic game where you are a bunny protecting its burrow from evil bunnies trying to attack.

Are you ready to be a bunny behind your cannon and save the day? If so then this is the game for you!

Nnooo (the developers), have tried to take the shooting aspect from call of duty/the older plants vs zombies, and made it more simplistic, you get a selection of guns to take down the attacking bunnies, some weapons are really fun whereas others slow the game speed, taking it down to one shot at a time thus taking the fun aspect away. My personal favourite was the runner bean laser, offering quick and effective action, and the heat seeking chilli ammo for the normal gun to collect the coin multipliers and take down enemies that were hard to reach.

It is fun and entertaining trying to hold off the various types and colour bunnies however it is based towards the younger market. The main aim of the game is to collect coins by shooting down rabbits and collecting the coins that they drop some pickups aid this and make it much more relieving, timing is key, a race between shooting them and collecting the coins before the next set swarm in.However as you can see the game lacks the longevity and becomes monotonous very fast. The three game modes are all very similar with the main goal to collect coins by surviving the waves of attacking bunnies; there is a good variation of bunnies to hold off making sure all your skills are put to the test, timing will come into play, it will test how well you can time your shots.

The menus styles are very simplistic and the writing is very big. The menu music is fast paced and matches the game; the graphics are very bold and vivid, making it easy to see the enemies. The jump on the difficulty settings will be challenging, going from very easy to normal, which is more like hard. Nnooo have made a solid game, there are no bugs and no slip ups, effort was definitely put in.

It would be good to compete with friends, when they come over to your house; it caters for people of all skill levels. This game would be perfect as a free game of the month or as a starter game that came with the xbox one
