Fulham will play premier league football next season all be it via the playoffs after a 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest at Craven Cottage.
Fulham were dumped big style last season from the Premiership and Lowes came under attack after selling high profile players and bringing in no one to replace them, And thus paying the price when other clubs were buying and making strong squads, Lowes who was highly criticised for spending more time on the golf course than concentrating on the job in hand saw his side dumped into the Championship.
After a meeting with the chairman pre season, Lowes went to work on strengthening the Fulham squad, He brought in Joe Gomez, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Javier Hernandez and when getting to the playoffs landed Jese Lingard who turned out to be the man who fired Fulham back into the Premiership.
"Last season we were poor and not spending on players we deserved to be hammered and dumped out of the Prem, we have spent this season and we are happy to be back there after one season out, We know it will be tough as its all quality in there, So again we will look to bring in some quality and then try and cement our place in the there. Title wise we are along way off the top boys, but were glad to be back"
With news Joe Gomez could be off to Liverpool and Hernandez to Gamba Osaka Lowes replied with " yes it looks like we will lose two good players and also we have had more than enough offers fro Jese LIngard, So we will need to work hard to get some quality in"
