06.06.2018 thats the date for the first league game for Ajax Amsterdams new Headcoach Sofa Rukus. In his short time in Amsterdam he already gained a nickname. Fans call him Soda now as thats easier to remember. It was about time the fans see the new signings.
L. Karius came in for the greek Goalkeeper we even forgot the name already.
Doumbia unfortunately had to leave Amsterdam as he was seen in local brothels and coffeeshops more often than on the pitch.
For Doumbia another Winger arrived in Amsterdam. Rocha. Who scored as well in his first game for the mighty Ajax.
Louis Schaub came in exchange for Amsterdams almost retired 35 year old Centermidfielder. Schaubs first words:
In their first game against the americans from Deareststorms Schaub and Rocha - the newcomers - immediately scored. Ibarbo scored two goals as well to show that he is more than just a replacement for Doumbia. In friendlies Ibarbo already scored more goals than doumbia even when he was still a winger. Now as the mainstriker he will even score more. Ajax Fans were not sure about that position swap but it seems to work out so they are happy.
Will they manage to go up to the prem again next season. Thats the question that is still open until now, but from the first game alone it looks very promising.
