This week the picturesque Polish city of Kielce welcomed its new Fantasy League manager Big B 1970 and his squad of players. Korona Kielce will be playing in the Championship and have signed a talented all African squad, nearly all of whom are full internationals with over 250 caps between them.
Any worries about the players not being able to cope with the cold were laughed off by the manager who said "Nearly all of these lads have plenty of experience of European league football so the weather isn't even a factor"
The squad got straight into action with a King of the Hill game against Galway, and were unlucky to lose 1-0 to a penalty late into extra-time. Galway have been revealed to be the first opponents in the league this season so the Korona team will be looking forward to tackle them again.
The Burundian winger Ntibazonkiza was missing from the first game due to problems with his visa but that seems to be sorted out now and he'll be pushing for a place in the starting line-up for the first league game. The FL transfer market opened yesterday and within minutes Korona had signed the experienced midfielder Ronny from Barnet, in what pundits are saying was a bargain at £2 million. The Brazilian is famous for having the hardest shot in football so the fans will be looking forward to him lining up some free kicks and unleashing "The Rocket" this season!
