Kid's Club 1 Review

So we come to that time of year again where I give you all a round-up of the entire Club League 1 season’s happenings in one lovely article which I hope you’ll enjoy.

For a change I’ll start from the bottom of the pack, offering my commiserations to Wesbank, Superden and Bring It who will be slumming it in the second tier of club football next season. Wesbank never seemed to get going at all with just 9 points earned all season with Crystal Palace who are still undecided as to whether Wes still has a place at their club. Superden and Bring It had one last chance to prove their worth against Kevcall and Fran but neither was successful in the relegation playoffs. Bring It can handle himself with the best of players, however a massive 8 – 2 defeat at the hands of EmotionalWorm midseason will have knocked his confidence for sure.

Neil363 or baldy as he’s more affectionately known managed to escape the drop zone by 7 points, which some might say he should have done better. After last season’s glory it was expected for him to bottle it this season and he didn’t disappoint. Still in retrospect 5th place is still nothing to be ashamed of.

From there we have Sam (33pts) and Emo (32pts) who sit 3rd and 4th respectively, decided by just a single point. Red Bull were satisfied with Sam’s performance as he showed he isn’t just a moody girl at times but also a pretty good player in a very tough league. Emo and his team of Young Boys (no Wenger it’s just a name, get back to the playground) took points off one of his main rivals for the title Truplaya but too many losses meant he had to do with sitting behind Sam.

Then we come to the big boys, aaron and Truplaya. Even with Donny Rovers aaron was tipped to do well and all season he was battling with Vitoria manager Truplaya, never sitting lower than 2nd place. By the end of match day 16 there was only 3 points in it, aaron leading the way into the last fixture, the script was written. Aaron vs Truplaya was the final fixture, all or nothing for Tru, a draw over 2 games was all that aaron required. First game he got that draw and the title was virtually his due to goal difference but just to make sure he stepped it up and smashed tru 5 – 0.

Donny Rovers name was cemented in history but they do not know if their hometown hero will stay on at the club or move on (to any club but Leeds).

Well done to all the competed, roll on Season 5.
